The EAP is confidential and can be used by employees and their immediate family – available 24/7/365.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) assists employees and their eligible dependents with personal and job-related concerns, including:

Face to Face Visits? For no cost, each person can receive up to 5 face-to-face (or virtual) visits with a licensed counselor per issue per year. Additional visits, if needed, will go through your health insurance.

Parental Leave Benefit. We are proud to offer a Parental Leave Benefit that supports both mothers and fathers. This benefit is part of our commitment to helping you balance your professional and personal life during one of the most important times of your family’s life.

Personal Leave of Absence. For those times when you need to step away from work for personal reasons that do not qualify under FMLA or a company insured benefit, we offer a Personal Leave of Absence. This leave is designed to give you the time you need, without the added stress of work obligations.

Bereavement Leave. We understand that the loss of a loved one is an incredibly difficult time. Our Bereavement Leave provides you with the time to grieve, reflect, and attend to any necessary matters, so you can focus on what’s most important.

Jury Duty Leave. Should you be called to serve on a jury, we offer Jury Duty Leave to ensure you can fulfill your civic duties without concern for your professional responsibilities.

PTO Donation Benefit. Our PTO Donation Benefit allows you to donate your PTO to the CATIC Financial Leave bank, which fellow colleagues in need may request to use for extenuating circumstances, fostering a supportive and caring work environment.

To streamline the process for requesting leave benefits the Company has implemented a leave management system. This is managed by our insurer, Reliance Matrix.

To submit your request for leave benefits such as short-term disability (STD) leave and/or state paid leave benefits you may call into Reliance Matrix or complete the web form. During the intake process they will advise on the details of the leave benefits you are eligible for. Note that you should have your provider’s information ready to provide during the intake process.

Bereavement Support Services provide confidential and professional support services to all family members and beneficiaries to cope with the loss of a loved one—at no extra cost. All family members and beneficiaries are eligible to receive telephonic grief counseling sessions, legal, and financial consultation through this program.
